Message from the President
Welcome to the Comox Valley Newcomers’ Club website.
Our club offers a wide variety of activities and outings for our members all year-long. We have indoor and outdoor activities plus monthly gatherings at pubs and restaurants throughout the valley. The mild climate makes it easy to enjoy the outdoors any time of the year. We take advantage of nearby Mt Washington for snow shoeing in the winter and hiking in the summer.
We encourage women interested in joining our club to come out to one of our weekly Friday morning walks to explore local paths and meet some of our friendly members. Walks are scheduled every Friday, all year-long (except for statutory holidays). Click here to view the current schedule. We also have scheduled Monday morning walks for people who prefer a later start. No need to sign up – just show up!
The leaves are turning colour and fall is here. The autumn provides opportunities to explore the towns and villages of the valley. There are Fall Fairs, Hallowe’en themed events and of course, Thanksgiving. We have much to be thankful for, living here in the valley.
